The Take Back Parliament Movement are doing brilliant work on a similar theme to us and they are arranging a number of demos around the country this weekend. They’ve put out the following statement:
Last Saturday the Take Back Parliament movement put thousands of people throughout the UK onto the streets to demand fair votes and they are doing the same this weekend.
The Lib-Con coalition agreement offers a referendum on AV but Take Back Parliament think that this doesn’t fully address the unfairness at the heart of the current system. They want you to push forward and make the case for a fair proportional system in which every vote counts.
